Well, hi, everybody. I am in the middle of the night, yes, I must be crazy. But I am safe in the arms of both my wife and my Savior, so, all is well.

I pray for the suffering people who are going through so much in Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan, Indonesia (earthquake-tsunami), China (storm-floods), North Korea (nightmarish oppression), Iran, Cechnya, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, India (Bombay), well, you get the idea. Oh, and not to mention those who have died in the heat wave in the USA. Suffering is always with us, but it just seems to be kicking it up a couple of notches now.

There is a lot that is undone yet in my character. But there is much that is in my heart for me to do. Today I am receiving a financial benefit that is, if all goes well, is the seed for work I have been waiting for all my life. Yet I am not as thrilled as I thought I would be. Rather, I am sobered, almost overwhelmed. I have to be willing to place trust in the One who has made my life, and who keeps it so that I can achieve my hopes and dreams. I am, at least, I think so.
